This microscope will allow us to identify specific components in each image at the molecular level using the nanometer scale.The operation of this gadget will be based on antibodies. To start, researchers will attach antibodies keyed to individual proteins. Then when a protein reacts with an antibody, it will create a variance in the microscope reading. This variance will be compared with a bare tip, and it will show us if there are a proteins or other specific material in the region that has being scanned.
This process will permit us to see the reactions of the cell in a molecular scale, and it will allow us to understand how the cells react to such stimuli. The discovery will probably be significant for drugs for example, because it will permit scientists to see their effects on a small scale.
